Cry, "Freedom!" It is a beautiful thing.
I can read magazines that have been piling up for months. I can watch movies that also have been piling. I can watch stupid TV. I can send e-mails to all manner of friends and my son's teachers (!). I can pet my dog. I can throw stuff away. I can make plans.
I watched "Picnic at Hanging Rock" for the second time in 29 years. What a crazy movie! That Peter Weir.
Saw "Prairie Home Companion" last night and loved it because I love Garrison Keillor. Did anyone else read his advice to the lovelorn column that was on Salon.com? It was great. He is smart and funny and reasonable.
Might even listen to my iPod. Gosh, the possibilities are staggering.
It is good to be alive.
